Bangalore-based Sami Labs, a leading global player in the nutraceutical and biotech segments, has won the “nutra-excellence award.” The award is given in connection with the Nutra India Summit 2013 being organised jointly by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and International Society for Nutraceuticals, Nutritionals and Naturals. The Nutra India Summit is being held from March 13 to 16 in Mumbai, at which Muhammed Majeed, managing director, Sami Labs, will receive the award.
Rajesh Kumar, chief executive of SamiDirect, the direct selling arm, said the company is planning to introduce a series of nutraceutical products including ready-to-drink beverages.
