Samsung India has launched digital radiology and in-vitro diagnostics equipment and technologies to strengthen its presence in the health and medical equipment business.
The products, launched under the GEO[1] brand, include XGEO for digital radiography, UGEO for ultrasound diagnostic system and LABGEO for in-vitro diagnostics. According to Samsung Vice President Dinesh Lodha, the products will offer fast, easy and accurate diagnosis to both doctors and patients. The LABGEO products will range from Rs 2.25 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh while the XGEO will cost between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 1.5 crore.
