Religare Enterprises Ltd, a financial services group, announced the appointment of Sangeeta Talwar as an independent non-executive director on its board.
Prior to this, Talwar helped establish NDDB Dairy Services, a company funded by the World Bank, to deliver the National Dairy Plan.
Previously, Talwar was President (South Asia) for Tata Global Beverages, CEO and MD at Mattel India, and Executive Vice-President, Marketing, for Nestle India, in her earlier stints.
She has been the architect behind several well-known campaigns such as ‘Maggi’ for Nestle and ‘Jaago Re’ for Tata Tea. She was also acknowledged as Business Today’s 30 Most Powerful Women in Indian Business (2007, 2009 and 2010) and The India Today Woman in the Corporate World in 2010.
