Suryajyoti Spinning Mills reported a net loss of ₹2.19 crore for the quarter ended December 31 as against a net loss of ₹2.39 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
Lower sales and high finance costs are attributed to the loss. During the quarter, its total income from operations was ₹107.74 crore, down from ₹123.45 crore in the year ago period. The company’s finance cost was ₹11.77 crore during the period (₹9.50 crore).
