Air cooler maker Symphony Ltd posted net profit of ₹ 56.06 crore for the quarter ended December 2016, up 17.46 per cent against ₹ 47.73 crore in the corresponding quarter 2015-16.
Company's net sales for the third quarter of the fiscal 2016-17 stood at ₹179.68 crore up 10.85 per cent as against net sales of ₹ 162.10 crore.
EBITDA margin on gross revenue for the third quarter stood at 41.18 per cent and EPS stood at Rs 8.01.
The Board of Directors on Friday declared third interim dividend of 50 per cent or ₹ 1 per equity share of Rs 2 each amounting to ₹. 8.42 lakh including dividend distribution tax.
For the nine months period April-December 2016, the company reported a net profit of ₹ 126.48 crore against net profit of ₹ 98.75 crore for the corresponding period last year, up 28.08 per cent.
Net sales for the nine-month period increased by 24.57 per cent at ₹482.10 crore as compared to ₹ 387.01 crore in the nine-month ended December 2015.
Nrupesh Shah, Executive Director of Symphony Ltd, said, "The impact of demonetisation is behind us. Business is back to normal. We are witnessing buoyancy across the geographies and business segments."
Symphony shares fell by over 3 per cent to ₹ 1,305.05 on the NSE on Friday.
