Tata Power Delhi Distribution on Monday said that it has been awarded ‘BEE Grade 1’ rating by ICRA.
This makes it the first power utility in India to achieve this rating, the statement said.
It means the company has ‘very high ability’ to carry out energy efficiency audits and to implement energy saving projects for its consumers willing to avail such facility to save energy and reduce their bills, the statement added.
The rating will help the company to get the BEE empanelment and also authorise it to take the big end-to-end energy solution project to reduce carbon footprint.
