Tata Power Solar, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Power, on Tuesday said it has commissioned two 1 KW solar photovoltaic plants to power the porta-cabin centres of Residents’ Welfare Associations (RWAs) across New Delhi. “These porta-cabin centres constitute the first set in a series of 12 1-kW solar PV plants that are being constructed under the ‘My Delhi, I Care’ initiative,” the company said in a statement. Tata Power Solar has generated more than 1.60 MW of energy from solar sources in New Delhi, it said.
