Tata Sons, the investment holding company of the Tata group, has appointed James Shapiro as its Resident Director in North America. Shapiro, a senior financial services executive with wide experience in international markets and regulatory issues, will facilitate the Tata group’s future growth in North America, the company said in a statement. The North America office reports to Madhu Kannan, Member, Group Executive Council, Tata Sons.
