Tata Steel, in association with Tata Digital Health, has launched an initiative to digitise and transform healthcare at Tata Main Hospital (TMH) in Jamshedpur.

The company said in a statement the move will provide end-to-end clinic management, improved in-clinic systems such as electronic medical records (EMR), access to faster diagnostic and point-of-care requirements through linkages to labs and pharmacies, and remote patient monitoring facilities.

The clinics will also be equipped with virtual consultation facilities, wherein doctors can seek specialist advice from partner healthcare providers located anywhere in the country.

The TMH clinics and dispensaries will now be equipped with a comprehensive EMR system integrated with diagnostics equipment that comply with global regulatory certifications and aid immediate diagnosis of patient conditions, said the statement. The pharmacy will function 24x7 from April onwards, it added.
