Tata Technologies, a provider of engineering services and manufacturing enterprise IT, has set up an innovation centre in the US.
The centre, in Troy, Michigan, will provide design and consulting services for automotive companies globally. The 10,000-square feet facility will initially staff 60 engineering professionals and 100 by the end of the calendar year, the company said in a statement.
This complements the Novi, Michigan North American headquarters and brings the total North America employee strength to more than 700 personnel, it added.
The centre will be the North American home to the Tata Technologies Vehicle Programmes Development group.
