Telecom service provider Uninor has appointed Vivek Anand as Chief Finance Officer. Anand moves in from his current position of Chief Finance Officer at Unilever Bangladesh Ltd (Dhaka) and will take charge of the Finance function at Uninor.
Prior to his position at Unilever Bangladesh, that he has held since 2010, Anand has served as the Finance Director at Hindustan Unilever Ltd and as Regional Finance Director at Unilever Singapore, the company said in a statement.
He is replacing Prasoon Sinha, who is moving to the Group Finance function at Telenor Group headquarters in Oslo to take up the position of Vice President and Head of Dynamic Performance Management Project.
The leadership change in Uninor’s Finance department will be concluded by the end of April with the Vivek Anand taking up the position in May.
