Liquor firm United Spirits today reported a standalone net loss of Rs 1,799.28 crore for the three months ended March 31, 2015.
The company had registered a net loss of Rs 5,380.10 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.
Total income rose marginally by 5.5 per cent to Rs 2,051.26 crore during the quarter from Rs 1,943.34 crore a year ago, United Spirits Ltd (USL) said in a filing to the BSE.
In view of the loss, said its board has not recommended any dividend on shares for the year ended March 31, 2015, the filing added.
United Spirits’ shares were trading at Rs 3,548, down 1.91 per cent on the BSE.
