United Spirits today reported a standalone net loss of Rs 55.58 crore for the three months ended June 30, 2014.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 118.13 crore during the same period previous fiscal.
Total income declined 10.97 per cent to Rs 1,923.90 crore during the quarter against Rs 2,161.05 crore in the same period of the previous financial year, United Spirits said in a filing to the BSE.
The company shares were trading at Rs 2,406.50 apiece on the BSE in the afternoon trade, up 1.28 per cent from their previous close.
