Ventura Pranas, an accounting company headquartered in the US with operations in India, has announced a partnership with PragerMetis, one of the top accounting firms in the US.
“The 100-year-old leading US accounting firm brings us a huge brand value from employee retention standpoint in an industry that is dominated by the big four auditing firms.
Also, with their deeper expertise, we can service our customers better in India and the US,” Prabha Srinivasan, co-founder & director, Ventura Pranas, told BusinessLine .
Echoing her views, Satish Sridharan, founder & CEO of the company, said: “The deal is a confidence booster to the company and staff. Our growth plan is based on a two-pronged approach. While we continue our own direct servicing on one side, structuring the newer groups relating to auditing, book keeping and others will be focused through PragerMetis partnership.”
Headquartered in New York, $46 million PragerMetis, has 10 offices across the US and the UK with a staff strength of about 300 people.
“We were looking for a partner who had the multinational aspect in accounting services and to support our expansion in Asian market. We could find strong synergies with Ventura. This will give us a platform to expand as also help us assist our needs internally. They will support us in India,” said David R Neste, Co-Managing Partner, PragerMetis.
