An official of the Visakhapatnam steel plant, Aravind Malaviya, 45, an assistant general manager, accidentally fell onto the moving rotar blades in the sinter plant and died on the spot on Thursday evening, it is learnt.
Official sources said an official had died in the accident but his identity was yet to be established. Union sources confirmed that the AGM, Malaviya, had died in the accident.
Official sources said the accident was being investigated into.
