Dr. Andreas Lauermann has been appointed as the new President & Managing Director of Volkswagen India Private Ltd with effect from July 1, 2015.
He succeeds Mahesh Kodumudi who will take over a responsible position with Volkswagen Group of America with effect from June 1, 2015. Kodumudi, who has led Volkswagen India since 1sst March 2013 will continue to act in an Advisory Role to Volkswagen Group India in the coming months, a statement said.
