Castorseed price moved down on futures platform on the back of profit booking by the market participants. Though, prices remained steady in physical markets as arrival increased and moderate demand. On the Rajkot Commodity Exchange (RCX) castor December contract declined by ₹45 to ₹3,915 per quintal. RCX spot was slightly up by ₹12.50 to ₹3,787.50 per quintal. About 20,000-22,000 bags arrived in Gujarat and price stood at ₹750-760 per 20 kg. Arrival was registered at 1,100-1,200 bags and price quoted ₹735-745 per 20 kg. Castor oil marginally decreased on weak demand by ₹5 to ₹785 per 10 kg.
