The city will host 11th Poultry India Expo and Knowledge Day technical seminar from November 22 to 24. Over 1,100 delegates from India, South Asia and South East Asia will take part in the seminar and exhibition.

Exhibitors will showcase latest equipment and products that could help improve productivity and convenience to the stakeholders.

“We could become a major poultry player in the world if we could contain the input costs,” Harish Garware, President of Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers' Association, said.

“Rising incomes, emergence of integrated production systems and technological advances would help the poultry grow faster,” he said.

“Demand for processed chicken meat is projected to grow between 15 to 20 per cent every year,” he said.
