N Dharmaraj, Wholetime Director and CEO of Harrisons Malayalam Ltd, has been elected as President of the United Planters Association of India (Upasi) for 2015-16 at the recently held annual general meeting of the apex planters’ body. Dharmaraj has over 41 years experience in the plantation business. D Vinod Sivappa has been elected as Vice-President. Vinod Sivappa, who hails from a coffee growing family of more than 160 years, was on the Committees of Codagu Planters’ Association and was also the Chairman of the Karnataka Planters’ Association, a Upasi statement said.
