Rashtriya e-Market Services (ReMS), which operates the electronic trading platform at the regulated agricultural markets of Karnataka, has bagged the Quality Council of India’s DL Shah Award-Platinum at the 11th National Quality Conclave 2016 in New Delhi recently.
Manoj Rajan, Additional Secretary and Managing Director, ReMS, received the award from the Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Jayant Sinha. ReMS, the joint initiative by the Government of Karnataka and NCDEX-Spot Exchange, is responsible for establishing, operating, managing, specialized electronic trading platform called Unified Market Platform (UMP) for auctioning of farmer’s produce in the agricultural regulated markets in the state.
