Sugar prices declined by ₹5-10 a quintal at Vashi on eased local demand amid normal arrivals. Prices at naka and mill level ruled steady. Increased selling pressure at mill level on the back of new crushing season and enough stocks with stockists kept activities limited. Freight rates were stable. Arrivals to the Vashi market declined to 56-57 truck loads and local dispatches were about 55-56 loads. Inventory remained at 110-115 truck loads.
