The Spices Board is playing a critical role in promoting spice production and export from the country, especially Andhra Pradesh, and farmers and exporters in the State should make use of the facilities provided by the Board and boost the spices trade, according to S Chandra Mohan Reddy, the state Agriculture Minister. He was speaking at a buyer-seller meet organised by the Board here on Monday. It was attended by 220 spices farmers from five districts of the State and 25 exporters from different parts of the country.
