Spot rubber finished marginally higher on Friday. The trend was partially mixed as latex ended lower amidst scattered transactions. RSS 4 improved to ₹91.50 (₹91) a kg, according to traders.
The grade continued to rule steady at ₹91.50 and ₹88.50 respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. February futures firmed up to ₹92 (₹90.87), March to ₹94.75 (₹93.92) and April to ₹97.50 (₹96.89) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹84.39 (₹83.59) at Bangkok.
February futures closed at ¥139.7 (₹84.78) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 91.50 (91); RSS-5: 88 (87); Ungraded: 83 (81); ISNR 20: 84.50 (83.50) and Latex (60% drc): 78 (79).
