In sale no 39, the quantity on offer in CTC dust was 11,92,500 kg.
In the orthodox market, the quantity on offer was 22,000 kg. Exporters and upcountry buyers were the mainstay of the market.
In Cochin CTC dust quotation, good varieties fetched ₹107-154, mediums stood ₹82-123 and plain grades quoted ₹56-77.
In the leaf category, exporters to CIS countries and other destinations lent useful support. In CTC, the market for good liquoring brokens and Fannings was firm to dearer.
