In order to track public and private sector projects, the Minister of State (IC), Coal, Power and New and Renewable Energy, Piyush Goyal, has launched e-CPMP or Online Coal Project Monitoring Portal.
The portal has been launched to remove the implementation bottlenecks in projects on a fastrack basis. The benefit will now be extended to recent coal block allottees.
"This is a new beginning to make the system transparent in coal," said Coal Secretary Anil Swarup.
The portal has been developed for tracking projects that entail an investment related to coal. It automates the entire tracking of issues resolution mechanism from submission to commission.
Investors/private entrepreneurs can create their login credentials with this platform and use it to submit projects with issues.
