Domestic crude oil output fell 1.81 per cent in July 2016 but natural gas output rose 3.27 per cent, according to data released by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Domestic crude oil production stood at 3.077 million tonnes in July compared with 3.134 mt in the same month last year.
Natural gas production stood at 2.704 billion cubic metre during July compared with 2.619 billion cubic metre in the same month last year.
Further, refinery throughput during the month grew 13.67 per cent during the month to 21.220 mt fromt 18.668 mt in the same month last year.
