Two factors that are important to bring business sustainability are education and training for the new emerging workforce, said Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman, Board of Governors, Jaipuria School of Business.
On November 11, Jaipuria School of Business organised an International Conference on “Changing Economic Scenario: Strategies for Business Sustainability”. Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce, inaugurated the conference with a video address.
Around 300 intellectuals from banking, corporate and civil society took part in the event. Alexander Shchegolev, Deputy Trade Commissioner, Russian Embassy; TK Arun, Editor, Opinion, Times of India; Anand Pillai, MD, Leadership Matters; and KG Suresh, Director General IIMC were some of those who attended the conference.
A Book was also released on the Conference Theme with edited articles and research papers. As many as 24 selected research papers were presented in the Conference by from various institutes in India, Mauritius, Dubai, and the US
