British Airways has come out with its annual offer for students travelling from India to the UK, Europe, US and Canada, packing it will extra luggage option, and a number of other facilities with its partners.

Under the offer, valid for outbound travel until September 30, 2016, students can carry an extra piece of luggage weighing up to 23kg per passenger, in addition to the current allowance of one checked bag. The offer is valid for all the 49 flights a week from New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

The Airways has partnered with Jabong, Airbnb, HDFC Credila Student Loans and Matrix to bring more benefits and further enhance students’ travel experience.

We understand that packing for their studies could pose quite a challenge to a lot of students and their parents. “Our codeshare agreement with American Airlines offers our young customers an additional advantage to choose from an extensive network that covers more than 200 destinations in the world,” he said.

“India is an important part of British Airways plans and is the second biggest market after the UK. We continue to invest into developing the market and look forward to new opportunities,” he told Business Line.

The airliner has provided a facility where students will be entitled to a full refund, without any penalty, in case of visa application rejection by any country embassy that is a part of the ticketed itinerary of their journey from India.

Students flying to the US, Canada and other destinations beyond the UK get right connectivity from the British Airways’ London Heathrow Terminal 5. The terminal is exclusive to customers of British Airways and its sister airline Iberia.
