Travel website Cleartrip has introduced cab bookings for travellers who can avail the services along with flight bookings. Cab companies, Meru and EasyCab, are both available for booking directly through Cleartrip at no extra charges. Cab bookings are available only in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Once the flight booking is complete, a new tab will be visible on the confirmation page asking the traveller to book a cab to the airport.
To book a cab, one needs to give a few details such as pick-up time, address and contact details. Once the cab is booked, the traveller receives a confirmation SMS either instantly or 30-minutes prior to departure (depending on the cab service one selects). Travellers can pay the cab directly at the drop off at the airport.
