Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd, in coordination with zonal railways, has announced running of 216 summer special trains from April to June.
A press release said here on Friday that to clear the extra rush of passengers during the season, 168 summer special trains were operated on the route last year.
Konkan Railway is engaged in train operations for a stretch of 740 km between Roha in Maharashtra and Mangaluru in Karnataka since 1998.
