PK Mishra has assumed charge as Additional General Manager of Southern Railway.
A post graduate from IIT-Madras and belonging to 1980 batch Indian Railway Service of Engineers, Mishra served as Chief Administrative Officer/Construction, Divisional Railway Manager of Chennai Division, and Chief Track Engineer and Chief Planning and Development Engineer.
In Southern Railway, he had executed capacity augmentation projects such as Chennai Beach-Tambaram gauge conversion project, in four months. He had been associated with construction of bridges across River Brahmaputra, Ganges and Cauvery, says a Southern Railways press release.
