For people suffering from tuberculosis, it is mandatory to submit Aadhaar numbers to avail benefits under a Central government scheme.
The Union Health Ministry has said in a notification that those who do not have an Aadhaar card can get themselves enrolled by August 31. The notification further says the scheme offers conditional cash assistance as a benefit.
