Central Provident Fund Commissioner, K K Jalan, has asked all employers to integrate the provident fund accounts of their employees with Universal Account Numbers (UAN).
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the official said UAN had already been allotted to all provident fund contributors who contributed for the last six months. The numbers were communicated to the employees through their respective employers.
The employers should also update the readily available Know Your Customer(KYC) details of their employees such as Aadhar card number, permanent account number, bank account details and ration card, Jalan added.
