Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met council of ministers and told them that the upcoming Union Budget should incorporate 'out of the box' ideas.
Emerging from the meeting that took place at Prime Minister's residence here, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, told reporters that ideas such as use of eBooks should be spread in the country.
"The Prime Ministers has told that out of the box and innovative ideas should reflect in the budget," Rudy said.
"Funds should be spent all year round and not at the last moment and there should be monitoring on this," he said, sighting what the PM told the ministers.
He further said, Modi has also told them that the North-east region should also be treated on priority basis for their development.
"The PM has told that the North-east be given special treatment and every Union Minister should visit the region and spend considerable time there," Rudy added.
