Downloading personal web server

I would like to know how I download the personal web server for Front Page exe on the Web. How do I configure it?

Sourabh

The personal web server is available in the Windows 98 CD itself. You can find it in "add-ons\pws\setup.exe." If you do not have the CD, you can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/ntoptionpack/askwiz.asp

There is nothing much to configure unless you are going to Web-publish from Front Page. You have to just install the PWS and then start writing your htmls and scripts and save it in the Internet directory. The default is /InetPut/wwwroot. If you save your htm as MyHtm.htm, then you can view your first html by typing http://localhost/MyHtm.htm. If you require any further explanations, please do contact us.
