Computer Usage Columns - Tip Off Speed up Start Menu
Start Regedit and search for the word desktop. This should be in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT / CLSID / {lcub}00021400... Right-click on the right panel and pick NEW / String Value. Name it MenuShowDelay and select a value from 1-10, 1 being the fastest. Exit Regedit and restart Windows.
