Blocking mail

I have an e-mail account with Hotmail. Whenever I open my inbox, I get a lot of unwanted messages. Everyday it becomes cumbersome for me to delete these messages. I want to block them but am not able to do so. How can I avoid these unwanted e-mails? . How do I do block thems? Please suggest a solution.

R. Ashok

You can select the mail IDs from where you do not want to receive any further mail. Then click on the Block button.
