Boot screen

Recently when I installed a new desktop theme, my boot screen showing `Windows 98' was changed. Even if I uninstalled the theme completely, it still doesn't revert back to the original. Please let me know how to change this.

Siddharth. R

The boot screen is a file called logo.sys, which usually can be located in the c:\windows directory. The theme would have probably renamed the original logo.sys to logo.old and named its theme image as logo.sys so that it gets displayed at boot screen. All you have to do is rename the logo.old back to logo.sys and your boot screen will be back to normal when you start up next time.
