Trouble with voice chat

I have been using the voice chat facility with Yahoo Messenger. Of late, though, I have not been able to do so. I have a Windows XP system and also the latest version of Yahoo Messenger, which I downloaded only recently. I get the following error message every time I try to log in to the facility: Internal server error. Cannot obtain voice token to start chat."

My speakers and mike are working perfectly. However, the toolbar that is usually located in the middle of chat screen (to enable voice and to check the echo level, etc.) is not visible. Please suggest a solution.

In Yahoo Messenger Version 6, if the person you are trying to contact is offline (not logged on), then you will get the above-said error. Please do a voice chat with any other person who is online. If you still get an error message, you need to run the "Audio Setup Wizard" which is a tool provided by Yahoo! to get your audio connections tested and set up. This tool will help you identify the problem. It is available under the `Help' menu of Yahoo Messenger. It is also available at http://download.yahoo.com/dl/update/yacswiz.exe. The wizard will test your speakers, mike, echo level, Internet connection and conference settings step-by-step. You need to pass all the tests to have a successful voice chat. If you fail any test, you need to do the recommended actions listed by Yahoo at the following URL: http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/voice/vwiz/

Yahoo voice chat uses "Microsoft Internet" browser modules to do some of its jobs. So even if you use other browsers to browse the Internet, you need to have Microsoft IE 4 or above installed in your system at both ends of the voice chat session. Otherwise, you might receive a "Voice Chat" error.
