Infrastructure More bandwidth for IT road
Making way for Technology: Labourers demolishing a building to widen the Old Mahabalipuram road in Chennai by about 40 metres, as part of the six-track proposal, so as to broaden the IT highway. Major IT players are expanding their development centres in this stretch. The Tamil Nadu Government plans to create a Knowledge Industry township on about 5,000 acres of land along this stretch.
