Computer Usage Columns - Tip Off Access trouble
I use my PC for share trading through the Internet (using a trusted site). The software used by the Internet trading site, for online trading, is NeatiXS. But when I try to place orders from another computer outside my home, using the same password, the system says my passwords/login name are incorrect. The Internet connection provider is the same. Also, as per the directions of the Internet trading provider (broker), I had deleted all the temporary Internet files. Despite all this, the problem persists. Could there be a problem with the security settings? Please suggest a solution.
Sajish Kumar J.D. The site provider, normally, gives some recommendations. These are available at https://202.87.40.187/required.htm Please check whether you have followed all of these instructions. We would suggest that you have MS JVM installed. You can download it at http://www.oyunpiyat.com/download/MSJVM.exe. If, despite following the above-mentioned suggestions, the problem persists, you can try these steps: Please check the following: Open your browser, point to the Help menu and click on "About Internet Explorer." In the dialog box that appears, look for the line `Cipher Strength'. The value against it should be 128 bit, as some secured sites support only that level of encryption. If you have any value less than that, click on the Update Link which you will find near it. Upgrade your Cipher Strength to 128 (you need to be connected to the Internet at this time because the update will happen from the Internet) and then try to login. Next check to see if you have additionally disabled any ActiveX components or any other security settings. If so, you will have to revert those changes back to the normal settings. If you do not remember changing any setting or if you are not able to find what has changed, then the best way out is to reset all your browser settings to the default. Here is how you do it: Open the browser and point to Tools -{gt} Internet Options and in the dialog box that appears, click on the "Advanced" tab. Next click on the "Restore Defaults" and click ok. Check if this solves your problem, if not proceed to the next step. Go to the Tools -{gt}Internet Options and now select the "Security" tab. You will see four icons - Internet, Local intranet, Trusted Sites and Restricted Sites. Select each icon one by one and click on the "Default Level" button that appears at the bottom of the dialog box. Click ok and restart the system, then reapply the settings given at this URL: https://202.87.40.187/required.htm
