Internet Variety - Entertainment & Leisure Games people play
When the team plays as one man. You used to share a special chemistry with the guys in your games team - you knew where you had to be and what to do without talking and instructions. But now that you are in a job that makes you too pooped to pop out for a game at your club by the end of the day, what do you do to get that special thrill of bonding and winning a game? What would you say if someone suggested you play PacMan? That old arcade game, maybe one of the first games you ever played on a PC in the eighties? Check out the Pack-man project at http://spd.e-rat.org/packman.php, which explains an installation that allows up to five people to play the same PacMan game on a single screen. So, how is it different from a network game? In a network game, people assume different roles in the same game. In Pack-man, all five players control only one character - PacMan, the one who runs. A majority decision is needed to move the character in a specific direction. The downside: the HR guys might want to use it for team management!
