Moving e-mail from Outlook to Outlook Express

I want to know how to download personal folder e-mails to Outlook Express.

Srinivas Devineni

Assuming you have installed and configured Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook on your system, now you would like to download e-mail messages from your Microsoft Outlook Personal Folders to your Outlook Express e-mail client.

To do this, please follow these steps: Open your Outlook Express client - Click File - Import - Messages. This will bring up the Outlook Express Import window. Now select the Microsoft Outlook and click Next. This will open the "Choose Profile" window. If you have configured multiple profiles on your Microsoft Outlook, then select the respective profile name from which mails are to be downloaded or select the default profile name and click ok. On the "Select Folders" window, you have two options to download messages. One is "All folders" and the other option is "Selected folders".

If you would like to use selected folders, then you may use your ctrl key to select required multiple folders, and click Next. This will start importing all your Microsoft Outlook mails to your Outlook Express. Click Finish. Please note Microsoft Outlook contains more features compared to Outlook Express. Hope this meets your requirement.
