I would like to know how to convert a .bmp file into a .pdf file. Also, I have installed a new additional hard disk and would like to know how to create a partition on the new drive.

You can convert a .bmp file into a .pdf file. Many tools are available for this purpose, for instance, "CITP-Convert Image to PDF" (Convert Tiff to PDF, JPG to PDF and BMP to PDF Software). This tool is available at

Otherwise, you can convert the image into pdf online itself by going to this site:

The output file will be sent to your mail ID. This is a free service.

As for your second query regarding partition creation, please Go to Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, then select Computer Management or by right-clicking My Computer, select Manage. The Computer Management screen will open. Now select Disk Management. It will list the disk partition details and the number of disks installed in the system. It will also display the CD-ROM drive. Please select the unpartitioned space in the new disk (Disk1 or Disk 2) which you installed newly. Then right-click, create an extended partition, then specify the size of the partition you want to create. Now the partition is created. Next, you have to create a logical drive. By right-clicking that partition, please select a logical drive, and specify the size of the drive you want to create, then format the partition you created by using NTFS or FAT. After disk format is over, the drive is now ready for use.
