I am using Acer (Travelmate 2423NWXCi) laptop and XP with service pack 2 but my system is very slow.

TuneXP 1.5 is among the best freeware and most powerful Windows XP tweaker that supports faster shutdown, clear pagefile on shutdown, ultra-fast boot, etc. Please read the help documentation before making changes on TuneXP. The best option is to increase your system memory to 512 MB or more. Please uninstall or disable the unwanted programs from system startup. Delete unwanted files and Defrag your hard disk. Set your pagefile size 2.5 times of your physical memory size. Next check spywares on your system. Download and run any anti-spyware tools such as adware (2.72 MB) at this URL: http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html , spybot search and destroy(4.8 MB) at this URL: http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10401314.html
