Using Download Managers

I downloaded `Download Accelerator Plus'. But whenever I try to download some program from http://www.download.com, I can't use the Download Manager and have to download the same with the normal speed. If I choose `Download using DAP' a page is downloaded instead.

By default, some download sites do not support download managers and download accelerators. Your problem may be due to the downloaded site providing a link to third-party software or author's site that may not support download accelerators. Or the download link for the product might be temporarily unavailable or it may be a broken link. Please take the following steps to use Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) to download files from sites that do not support the use of download managers.

Open DAP - Click Tools menu - Options - Select "Connection" on the screen and select your browser from the drop down list of the "User Agent". For example if you use IE 6, then select "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)". To return to default values, please select DA 7.0 again. If you would like to temporarily disable DAP, just right-click the DAP icon on the system tray and select "Disable downloads by DAP". You may temporarily bypass DAP by simply holding the ALT key while clicking the download link in the browser.
