The day you went on that trip...S. GOPAKUMAR

First up is the concept of a personal annual report, not just a list of achievements and failures, but a complete (and I mean complete!) report of all sorts of aspects of your life: the countries/states/cities you visit; the coldest and hottest days you experienced (and location); the average temperature you enjoyed; the time you spent in different localities/neighbourhoods; the air-miles you travelled; the music you listened to; number of days you worked, your vacation; plants and animals killed; best meal and restaurants visited; social and cultural calendar... really everything!

We came across this concept from Feltron VII's report athttp://feltron.com/06report_index.html, which can serve as a great example. Actually, it is not too difficult to do this: most of the information is part of your calendar/scheduler and some of it is stuff that you will keep track of on a casual basis, but you could just formalise it (credit card bills for purchase histories and eating out records; airline tickets and itineraries for air travel details); and some others are tracked electronically and you just have to look for the information (your favourite music; your favourite sites and blogs; the weather).

A report like this will let you know really how you have been spending your time and might explain why your boss thinks he might have been a little too generous during appraisal time!

It might also let you know why your pants from the year before don't fit you any more, and we have yet another web page (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-does-200-calories-look-like.htm) that will help you figure out what 200 calories means in different foods!
