Recording radio concerts

I would like to link my radio to my PC in order to record and store on CD. I am keen on recording concerts from BBC radio 3. Please tell me how I go about it.

PETER

In the multimedia card, there is a socketfor Line in. This can be used for recording external source of music. In the Radio, if there is an Audio Out socket available, it can be connected to the Line in of PCmultimedia card. The specification about the audio outport of the Radio and the Line In of the multimedia card should bechecked for interconnectivity.

Only if it matches can they be connected.Interconnecting non-matching ports can damage one or both ports. Please takesufficient care before connecting. If the audio out is not available in theRadio, the other way is to record through a microphone. Please connect the microphone to the Mic port of the PC. Place the mike in front of the Radio.

Start any recording software in the PC to record the audio from radio in the PC. The disadvantage in this method is that anybackground sounds too are picked up.
