Mitashi Edutainment Private Ltd has unveiled the DHD 911, HD DVD player for the Indian market. The player is a high-end progressive-scan DVD player equipped to offer scintillating images on high-definition and HD-ready TVs, says the company. It also spins MP3- and JPEG-encoded recordable CDs and CDs loaded with MPEG-4 and DivX video, “perfect for viewing Internet-sourced content in your home theatre.” Available at leading electronic stores, it is priced at Rs 3,990, says the company.
