A&S Creations, distributor of Finland-based Suunto, has announced the availability of the new ABC (altimeter, barometer, and compass) wristop computers for the first time in India. These combine ABC functions with new benefits such as a height/depth meter, sunrise and sunset times, a renewed user interface, and a menu in four languages, says the company.

Accurate to 32,760 ft (10,000 meters), the altimeter displays current elevation, elevation gained and lost, and records sessions for review. The automatic alti/ baro mode switches between altimeter and barometer modes. With a button push, the altimeter starts at zero and begins tracking a climber’s ascent and descent.

The Suunto Core barometer measures and records air pressure and displays graphic weather trend. The Storm Alarm helps climbers and hikers avoid potentially dangerous situations, says the company. The Suunto Core ranges between Rs 19,700 and Rs 29,500 and is available only through A&S Creations distributors across India.
